Quilters’ Guild of Arlington Retreat
Compass Centre, Mt. Calm
November 5 - 9, 2008
When: Wednesday, November 5 (check in 12 Noon) – Sunday, November 9 (check out 3 PM)
Where: Compass Centre, Mt. Calm, Texas
www.compasscentre.comCost: $68 per night, per person. Includes all meals (dinner on the 5th through brunch on the 9th). Each person will have a personal table and a ‘Sew Perfect’ chair. Rooms are arranged with 4 twin beds, no bunks. One ADA room is available. Please look on the website for information on the all the great amenities and work space.
Minimum of 15 attending each night, maximum 35. Deposit is transferable but NOT REFUNDABLE.
We will have several fun activities, door prizes, block & fabric exchanges. We will also have space for ‘garage sale’ items. Bring your personal projects, UFOs to finish and ideas to share!

I just got back from our Mystery Retreat at the Compass Center. The food was wonderful (especially the oversized cookies). Attached are two photos of the quilt Paula Barnes taught . . . Paula Barnes is a good teacher and a lot of fun to be with. I would recommend her to be one of our speakers and to teach a workshop . . .
